Hi all!

Hope everyone's doing well this Ramadhan. As for me, so far I have missed only 4 days of fasting! And its only a wk away to 1st Syawal, so Im gonna keep my fingers crossed in the meantime.

So what have I been up to since I started working?

Term 3 is a bad time to come back to work, especially if you have been on leave for sooo long. From the very first day that I am back, I had to rush the O Levels seating plan for my HOD. Then it was preparation for prelim practicals. Now its preparation for O Levels practical.

My life had been hetic too. Everyday it is a feat for me...

6.00pm
pick up Nurul
take crowded bus home/drive home
settle her down

7.30pm
start cooking/ rush to cook dishes for buka
set the table for dinner
bathe

9.00pm
wash clothes / handwash Nurul's clothes
iron clothes

11.00pm
prepare, puree Nurul's food
pack Nurul's bag for the next day
cook for sahur

I end up sleeping at 12 or 1am everyday. No more luxury 8-10hr beauty sleep for me. : (

It makes me wonder sometimes how I can still find time to do something like that BP that I organized - which btw had just been completed successfully.

I was actually dying to spend sometime for myself, to sew or do some crafts. But all the daily routine leaves me very little, if none at all, time to indulge in it. So when an order for my Kanzashi brooches came in, I sprang up alive! I devoured every stitch and loved every minute that I spent making the Kanzashi brooches. After so long, Im glad to say, I still have it. The brooches turned out perfecto!

Thank you Soffya for the order!
(these are only an illustration of the brooches that I made)

Back to Hari Raya...we spent practically every wkend breaking fast either at my mom's or my in-law's. Dont get me wrong, I would loove to spend the weekend lazing around and cooking for buka at my own house, especially after 5days of hetic schedule.

It was more because both of Nurul's grannies can never get enough of her. But of course, there was always something to bring back for sahur later...hehehe... :)

We've been out shopping for Hari Raya a few times now. Most of the time was spent searching for Your Highness's shoes / dresses / Baju Kurung. As for the parents, it was just one quick trip to Geylang Bazaar to grab that Baju Kurung that matches Your Highness's Baju Kurung.

With one wk to go, nothing have been done to our home yet. No spring cleaning, no washing windows. That is why I am adamant that we stay home this weekend. The very last weekend. To turn the house upside down and clean it inside out. Well, hopefully....

Looks like the plan to buy a convectional oven had been postponed to next year, again. But it will still be homemade cookies that will be served on our coffeetable. Well, homemade in my mom's home that is. Hehe...She had voluntarily made me Pineapple tart, Honey Cornflakes, Hazelnut Choco, Rempeyek...and a few more that needs to be collected soon. Hehehe...what do I do without my mom! Thank you mom!

Well, that is it for the time being. Till the next update, toodles....
