Hey ya!

Unexpected things happened the past 1 wk, good news and some sad news. With tat last Marketing class 2wks ago, I tot that I will be able to spend some time craftin'...but I was terribly wrong.

On Tuesday last wk, I received a call fr my Hubb at 4.30pm asking me to come to SGH. "Mak Jun (his aunt) had an accident", he said. I tot tat it was a light accident taking into account her job as a store helper is not tat dangerous but I was terribly wrong! How I wished I was right though!

Apparently she was on her way to KL and the bus she was in had an accident with a trailer. All 35 passengers were hurt, except for the bus driver. Mak Jun is now in SGH ICU. I shall not reveal too much coz they wanted to keep it within the family to keep out uninvited attention. She is unconscious after going thru 2 ops to remove a part of her skull. The whole family have been praying hard for her safety. Al-fateha!

On a different note, last wkend I brought up the subject of subscribing to Starhub Cable coz the deal wch comes wif a free Osim I-squeeze seems sooo tempting. I-squeeze had been one of items on my wish list ever since I've been experiencing pains in the back of my knee. I believe this is wat I get for insisting on wearing heels to work although I hav to climb up and down the stairs umpteen times everyday! Hehe...Well, we decided not to subscribe coz both of us were seldom home and it would be a waste.

Niwaes, last Sat we were home expecting the delivery fr IKEA and the Starhub people who were scheduled to tune the aerial to accept Cable TV, when i overheard my Hubb talkin on his hp secretly. He was checking how much he had to pay...Funny, I tot, the Cable guy whom I spoke to earlier did mention that the tuning would be FOC.

Me: Dear, eh, I tot the tuning is FOC?
Hubb: Yalah.
Me: Then juz now I hear u ask tat man, "how much?"
Hubb: Oh, tat is different, Im subscribing to Cable. U want I-squeeze rite?
Me: Huh? (First looked blur, then Cheezy smile) Oh, I get I-squeeze izit? Yay!!!!! Thanks!!!!
Hubb: For ur birthday ah!
Me: Hehe! Thanks! Eh, also good hor, I get I-squeeze, U get cable.
Hubb: Yah! I get HBO! Yay!

It seems like he was happier compared to me.

Oh, and in the midst of unpacking boxes in my mum's new place yesterday, we tot we lost Yayang. Everyone was looking high and low. Even my hubb went to 2 blks away to look for her but she was no where to be found. We were losing hope. While we were moving stacks of boxes, my Hubb found Yayang hiding behind the stacks and stacks of boxes in a corner of the room. Sheesh! Yayang and her antics!

I love IKEA furniture...see how they match my bedset!

Bedside Drawer

Chest of 6-drawers...haha...4 belongs to me!

I'll update more pics...rite now blogger's photo download is havin some prob...sheesh!

Hi Peeps! Wow! its been a whole month since my last post!

So much had happened...its not tat ive grown tired of blogging...i dont think i ever will coz im kinda fond of the blabber space im given here...coming back, time and again i had intended to prop myself down infront of the 'box' and let my fingers 'do the talking' but time and again something will crop up. To summarise:

1.On 19 Feb 2006, Im officially declared a 'Sengkang-ian'. Alhamdulillah, and Big thanks to all family members and friends (of my hubb), everything went along as planned and smoothly. I did keep my cam near me but in all the excitement, I had forgotten to catch any pics.

This Sat will be the 14th day ive stayed at our "Hotel/Chalet Home". Tat is what my hubb had named it, his reason being:

a. My full length window in the living room looks out to a garden with swaying trees
b. The contemporary concept which we picked with furniture and whole of the living room in colors ranging fr Barley white to Browns looks like a cut out from a House decor magazine or a hotel room.
c. The windy breeze that comes in fr the kitchen windows during the day and fr the living rm windows at night makes it feel like we are in a Chalet by the beach. At the same time, our KDK fans are standing in the corners of the rooms, looking spanking new and unused.

I'll try to put in some pics later, once Ive cleared the boxes after boxes that are still unpacked. Wat to do, Im a working lady who attends classes twice a wk and wkends are a luxury to me.

2. Surprisingly, I made it for my Econs Test. I recalled tearing the dotted computer printed result slip on one of its side and peeked into it trying to make out the alphabet written under "Grade". At this point my hubb grabbed the slip fr me and teared it open wide. "A".

Back in the new Marketing class in mid February, when asked by a fella classmate what was my grade, I told her the alphabet. She was totally disgusted by me. Shucks! I was expecting a C or at the most a B coz I think I wrote too much for a 2mark qn and I would imagine that most probably my lecturer might have fallen asleep while marking my paper and start to drool all over it....or ... I tot I had gotten an A coz all the marks had been moderated. I was quite surprised to find out that almost half of the class had to resit. Alhamdulillah!

3. On my hobby, Alhamdulillah! I've been buzy preparing for a couple of lobangs but to date "the fruits of my labour" is yet to be seen. InsyaAllah. Ive been buzy preparing for another event too. This on top of Marketing exam on 24 apr. I kinda like my Marketing Lecturer fr TP. He's experience and I like listening to his stories on his Flea market adventures.

Ok then, its way past my bedtime! Haha, since becoming a wife, Ive really forgotten abt beauty sleep. But Being Married Rocks so who cares!
