Ohhh...soo much to update but sooo lil time to type....

For the first time in my life, I missed the real fireworks on 9 Aug 05. I had to be satisfied wif the colors tat came out from the TeeVee. My poor Hubb had to report for duty tat day at 6am! By da time he came back, he was a total zombie.

So we went to the final Fireworks at Marina City Park last Sunday. Since in almost every blog I read I will see pics of the fireworks, therefore, I decided not to put the pics here, but to enjoy them for myself. Haha...very shellfish monger of me!

My hands hav been itchin wif craftwork, I made brooches one for each of my sis and one for Coombee. Of course it was gratis, but the next one will be per normal charge. Guess who my first customer is? Lina my sis, she ordered a Kanzashi brooch in dark lilac to go wif her uniform. A wk later, she ordered a handphone charm in sweet pink.

This reminded me of our younger days when we would play "jual-jual". I would be the cashier, operating from under our study table and the chair would be my so called cahsier counter. We tear pages from exercise books and I label them with the denominations to be used as our dollar notes. My late second sis is more enterprenual (...teachers pls correct my spelling), she would sell her Art & Craft paintings from school to my twin sis. And who would believe it! They actually rush to buy the paintings! Each painting is $0.50 and she use the real SGD! But I must admit, she really had a talent in art though...

Oh...The pics of my crafts will be up as soon as I can get my Thumbdrive to work! Sheesh!

Yay! My thumb had been recognized...

This is Coombee's bribe...hehehe...

This is Azlina's first brooch...

This is Azlin's....dun noe why she wanted orange though?

Lina's second to match her uniform.

Im selling these brooches at S$6 each and the one wif ribbons and lace at S$8. Anyone interested? I do customization too....juz let me know thru my blog...

Yap, its another rushed entry. Coz I want to leave on time today. The school is all empty except for a few souls stuck in some corner in the building, anticipating for the clock to strike 5.

Last Saturday, I cut my hair, short. Real short. It had never been this short before my entire 27 years of life on planet Earth.

Oh, this is not the first time. I did cut my hair short before, but not this short. Sort of a rushed decision made after the tiff wif my Hubb last wkend, wch totally spoilt that wkend. (To da fella who reads my blog (u noe who u r) Yap, we do fight.)

Kinda not my fault. The Auntie was quarrelling wif da aircon repair man while cuttin my hair. Plus the fact I could only see a blury brown patch of myself in the mirror. Might as well consider me 'Blind' when Im apart fr my glasses, I cant see wat was happenin to my hair. So the fringe went shorter and shorter. At the end of it, after wearing my glasses, I could only knod my head out of utter shock when the Auntie asked "How? Can hor?" I could hardly see any resemblance of my hair cut to the Japanese model in the magazine.

My mum n sis were in shock beyond words when they saw the haircut. My sis tried to console me "The fringe will grow back soon, very fast, like mine" Thanks sis for tryin (to comfort me).

All I can say is -Thank God Im wearing a tudung now. If not, I had to fork out more $ to visit my ex-hairstylist at Supercut to repair the haircut, like I did a few years back. Only it was worst then, I not only cut my hair real short, I even had an 'Auntie perm' . Sheesh...wat was I tinkin...

p/s: The fight was a needed cause, we had a happy 'make-up' after all...wink..wink...

Its like a stammer...my mind always go blank whenever Im to start my blog. But once I start writing, all the nonsensical stuff starts flowin...juz like now...

Recently, I've been gettin sudden ideas of craftwork, and had excitedly went to Spotlight to purchase the ingredients but I've yet to find time to put them together. Last Saturday, after my noon nap, I woke up inspired and started puttin together a Kanzashi Flower brooch. Come to think of it now, I cant believe it took me 6 hrs to finish! (Of course, there were toilet breaks and dinner break and lots of other breaks in between the 6hrs)

So this is it my very first Kanzashi Flower brooch:

p/s Thanks Arfah for the intro to Craftster.

Yesternight, me n my hubb were in each others own cave (Tats' wat its called in the "Men are from Mars, Women fr Venus" bk tat I read sometime back wen I had a hard time tryin to understd Men).

Sooo we were like doin each other's own thingy, me n my craft and he wif his Warhammer Stuff (btw, he adoringly calls each one of the creature "the fellow"). We were quiet, except for the occasional "Vroom" sound tat my hubb makes as he imaginatively move his Warhammer vechicle (of some sort) accross the carpet.

At 11pm, Las Vegas was on. We both grabbed the pillows and lied on the carpet to watch the show. Later, I sort of heard a voice calling out to me. Somehow, both of us fell asleep infront of the TV, wif the door to our room wide open. It was my mum-in-law. I tink if not for her, we wld hav woken up tis morning on the carpet.

It was kinda weird, the way both of us dozed off like tat. Come to think of it, its quite eerie, like we were under a spell. Mcm kena tiup powder putih mcm dlm citer Labu Labi.....Hehehe...
